DESCRIPTION:A Plataforma Portuguesa para os Direitos das Mulheres é uma das organizações intervenientes\, conjuntamente com o Ninho e o MDM – Movimento Democrático de Mulheres no debate por este promovido\, no debate que ocorre no dia 28 de Junho\, às 18H00\, no Espaço Santa Catarina em Lisboa\n\n(Largo Dr. António de Sousa Macedo\, 7D)\, um debate inserido na luta contra a criação de uma «plataforma local de intervenção na área do trabalho sexual na cidade de Lisboa» por iniciativa da Câmara Municipal de Lisboa. \nO debate contará com a intervenção de Lily da Nóbrega e Sandra Benfica do MDM\, de Sofia Fernandes da Plataforma Portuguesa para os Direitos das Mulheres e de Dália Rodrigues da Associação “O Ninho”\, organizações que lançaram a Petição “em defesa da dignidade das mulheres – prostituição não é trabalho” e que conta já com o apoio de mais de 2500 subscritoras/es desde o seu lançamento a 11 de junho. \nA petição pode ser assinada online aqui.

DESCRIPTION:A REDE de Jovens para a Igualdade\, o CLDS de Mangualde e o Instituto Português do Desporto e da Juventude organizam o seminário ROMI no próximo dia 24 de Junho\, Dia Nacional das Comunidades Ciganas\, na Biblioteca Municipal Dr. Alexandre Alves em Mangualde.\n\nO projeto Viseu Jovem pela Igualdade\, financiado pelo POISE e promovido pela REDE\, em colaboração com o CLDS de Mangualde e com o IPDJ\, tem vindo a trabalhar com um grupo de jovens mulheres ciganas daquele concelho. No âmbito das atividades intituladas “Kick-off Mangualde”\, as jovens construíram um documentário\, identificaram questões relevantes e fizeram entrevistas com membros da sua comunidade que foi filmado e editado por um técnico do IPDJ\, sempre numa lógica participativa\, em conjunto com as jovens.\n\nO documentário está pronto e será lançado no âmbito deste seminário que contará\, também\, com a participação de jovens mulheres ciganas de outros concelhos do país que apresentarão os seus projetos. DESCRIPTION:The workshop “Gender on the Move” in an activity of the project “Gender Perspective in EU Mobility Programs”\, promoted by TOG – Toplum Gönüllüleri Vakfı | Community Volunteers Foundation (Turkey)\, in partnership with REDE de Jovens para a Igualdade (Portugal)\, EURO-NET (Italy)\, United Societies of Balkans (Greece) and Yasar University (Turkey) and funded by the Erasmus+ Programme. \nMobility Programs mobilize many young people throughout Europe and provide them several excellent opportunities and various benefits. At the same time\, gender discrimination is a global issue and it affects young women’s and LGBTIs’ lives all around the world. Especially being a young foreign woman or a LGBTI+ means facing many different challenges which might set them apart from their heterosexual men peers.
